Awake at Sundown

Awake at Sundown 2022-2023 Retrospective is the result of a question: “Do you still remember the people we were back then?”

As 2023 fades into the past, I question myself if I really remember what my day-to-day was like back then? I remember the things that I did and the people I did them with, through dates and hours hard-stamped into our photo albums. But what about what it felt like? Do I still remember the significance or triviality of those moments that warranted a picture? With each passing month it’s harder and harder to recount those feelings. What about the photographs—do they tell a different story now compared to when they were taken?

Awake at Sundown is  collection of photos taken on iPhone, digi cam, DSLR, polaroid, and film.
