Finding Lagavulin at the Edge of the World

This piece aims to intimately understand how experts think about Lagavulin, a pursuit that takes readers from windswept Scotland and a centuries-old distillery at the southern edge of the Isle of Islay, to acclaimed bars in NYC, observing the single malt’s cosmopolitan existence (Who is drinking it and how? How has it evolved with trends in the spirits industry?).
